Program Details
From snacks, to main dishes, to desserts—falafel waffles may be your new favorite treat! In the Mediterranean class series, you will learn why our neighbors across the sea live longer, healthier lives. In small groups, you will prepare and sample 3-6 dishes each class. In addition, you will take home new cooking skills, practical recipes, and knowledge about a lifechanging diet. No culinary experience is needed!
This series of classes is funded and led by the University of Tennessee Extension team: June Puett, Anne Olson, and Janice Hartman. Collectively, these incredible professionals have 100+ years of food experience. Scholarships are not offered for this series.
We cannot substitute foods for those with dietary restrictions. By participating, you assume all risks associated with cooking activities and agree to release the University of Tennessee and the YMCA from liability for any allergic reactions.
While this class is part of a series, you are able to choose which ones you would like to attend! If you would like to attend multiple classes in the series, please make sure to register for each one individually.
