Program Details
Join Liv Mertens, a registered dietetics intern, for a workshop on "Sports Nutrition" focusing on what to eat before, during, and after exercise, healthy protein and carb ratios, and general guidance on calorie intake. There will be samples of some healthy snacks to try but this class will be mostly instructional and discussion - not our usual "cooking" class - but full of valuable info for athletes of all experience levels.
Scholarships are available for anyone for up to 100% fee coverage for this class, ensuring it is accessible to anyone. If you need a scholarship, please do not register through this site and email us instead. Contact: Austin Winter at awinter@ymcachattanooga.org.
